District of North Vancouver Parks Rolls Out Red Carpet for Soccer Tournament

Congratulations to the District of North Vancouver for setting the stage this weekend for a fabulous four days of soccer for ~60 teams from across the province. The girls' teams were in town for the BC Soccer Associations Provincial Cup Championships, hosted by North Shore Youth Soccer.

The site of the tournament was Inter River Park, and District crews did an amazing job prepping the fields and cutting the grass leading to an almost perfect setting for one of the major soccer gatherings of the year.

There was only one thing that would have made this event better. That would have been a clubhouse and washroom facility at Inter River to house the throngs of visitors who came to the North Shore to play a little soccer and spend a few pennies in our community.

What happened to Wendy's post which contained the interview with Blueridge slide victim. Michael Kuttner?

Barry removed it due to it being in extremely bad taste. Wendy managed to sink to a new low. Barry tolerates a lot of controversy and free speech on this blog, but Wendy manages to consistently go well beyond any sense of common decency. She is the only blogger that Barry has ever had to censor and Barry hates having to censor his blog....that is how bad Wendy can get.

That was not an interview. It was an opinion piece, pure and simple. A bad, tasteless one at that. Wendy clearly has no moral compass.

I doubt Barry removed it and if he did why are you saying so and not him?

Wendy said she removed it herself after she posted it in error by "pushing the wrong button" as she called it. I never read the piece because it was only up for a few minutes, but it must have been a doozie.

Anon 12:17, she posted it a second time after the 'accidental' posting. It was up for several hours and those of us who saw it were not impressed.
