A recent poll suggests that the NDP candidate in North Vancouver -- Seymour is in the lead because of people's aversion to the Kinder Morgan pipeline expansion. It certainly will be an interesting federal campaign and outcome.
If you are referring to the Insight West poll, then don't hold your breath. That poll was so out of line with all of the other polling that it can't be taken seriously. It has the Trudeau Liberals at 6% in the polls, a 75% drop from what they had under Michael Ignatieff... I can't believe that. Forest Ethics where the ones who commissioned the study, and surprise surprise, they are big supporters of the NDP.
Claire Martin is the Federal Green candidate in North Burnaby-Seymour and protested on Burnaby Mtn. against Kinder Morgan.. She may do very well . Move over Mike!
I have been getting non-stop calls from Federal Conservative Party, after telling them to leave me off their phoning list. It never ends! Worse than telemarketers!
Deju vu all over again. Each election sprouts the usual NDP boosters on the blog hopefully championing their candidates and each election they are soundly defeated on the N. Shore. Unlikely this election will be different.
How does the native response to the KM pipeline morph into a list of who the Green and NDP candidates might be? Is there no interest in the information put forward by the Burrard Band spokespeople?

They're campaigning. My research suggest this has been known to occur before elections.

The spokesperson for 300 people? The DNV has ~90,000 people their spokespeople should carry a wee bit more weight.
