New service available at dnv.org
You can sign up to have the agendas and meeting times, etc. automatically sent to you at dnv.org
Is this in response to criticism that District Hall has lacked transparency?

This is not a user-friendly option. This website wins all sorts of awards, which are given out by computer scientists. This website is geared to the computer pro, not the average Joe.
Why should we have to enter a complex password? I am on many elists and certainly shouldn't have to go through these hoops to get information from the municipality where I live and pay taxes.
You don't have to go through any hoops. Look up the information yourself. The sooner we stop whining about the government not giving us everything our little hearts desire, the sooner are taxes might return to a reasonable level. When did we become a society of miserable whiners?
I haven't signed up for the service as I have the page with the agendas bookmarked.
I had to change my bookmark when 2011 became 2012 - imagine that!
DNV has a very good website with a ton of content but the indexing is truly grim. This is probably what the first poster is referring to - my experience is that you can find everything eventually but that Google has the DNV site better indexed than they do themselves!
Replace the search function with something decent and you've got one of the best anywhere - my experience is that it's a better site than the City's, West Vancouver's, the City of Vancouver's or Burnaby's.
