New standards for drinking water hard to swallow
If the Feds aren't sticking it to us with sewage treatment and RCMP contracts then they're sticking it to us with new water standards. NVC Mayor Mussatto goes to bat for North Vancouver. Where is our Andrew Saxton? What exactly does he do for the people of NV?
In December 2010, the CETA Water Report "Public Water for Sale: How Canada Will Privatize Our Public Water Systems" stated: "Proposed new federal water sanitation standards would add $20 billion to that figure."(page 3) Who is gonna pay? Public-Private Partnerships seem to be the rage, but at what great democratic loss?
