1st, t would be entirely stupid to break the law and hold an early election.
I would also challenge the thought that only 2 of 4 seats are safe for the BC Libs. Only Lonsdale will be close one. Clark had said she would be doing nominations for every seat would should solve the Seymour problem with Jane losing a nomination and it's possible Sultan would retire but I think he would win a nomination if one was forced on him.
Will the BC Libs endorse Jane as their candidate? Will Jane even want to be endorsed? I think she should run as an independent. Mike Little? Roger Bassam? Don't think so. Too much bad blood regarding municipal concerns, most importantly the taxpayers footing a municipal byelection.
