CNV and DNV Disclosures are in!

We can now see how little and how much candidates spent on their campaigns during the November 2014 Municipal Election. Lisa Muri spends little, tops the polls, Kerry Morris spends a small fortune, crashes and burns, and everything in between. Obviously the 'secret' to being elected is not how much money you spend.

In summary, politicians that do things that I don't agree with are obviously corrupt and we should make this STOP HAPPENING.

You're welcome.

You gotta love Mussatto. He honestly believes he is doing the best for his community.

The electorate seems to agree.

to 0829: the team did not win the popular vote - too many independents proved to be the problem. The dirty tricks campaign and money outdid the ethical.

It just slays me that Mussatto is so blatant about his association with the casino people. The people on the North Shore have been polled ad nauseam and do not want gambling here.

I watched the election fairly closely and I can't recall Mayor Mussatto saying anything about casinos.

He took gaming money and by some incredible fluke the topic of gaming has come back for discussion to CNV council last week after years of laying dormant. What a crazy coincidence!

I remember an All Candidates Meeting at the Edgemont United Church in 2005. The question put was stand up if you are in favour of gaming in the DNV.

None of the candidates stood up.

I think the same thing happened in the city.
